I can show you logs of me telling antzzz we would be late for this game. I also selected our map here when we scheduled it. You knew our map, I even repeated that like an our before the match when I was talking to Sard. We asumed you would take prague again, after all that's the map you guys always played. We prepared for that, like you had the chance to prepare for our map. If you would have said your map was prague we would have accepted that.

Sportmanship in urt is for me giving the opponent the chance to prepare themselves not to try and win on an act of surprise.

It's a shame you feel different about what fair play and sportmanship is, I can't help that or change that.

Rules on the matter are very easy. You have to tell your map before the match time. If this didn't happen I don't see where the bad sportmanship is.

If I select tohunga and then switch to eagle in the last minute I'm sure you wouldn't be happy aswell.
If you consider a team as "friend team" you tell them your map in advance. You don't wait the match time.

Anyways rules are rules, simple as that.

Good sportsmanship is indeed to be able to play and win a match while everything is as clear as possible. Not inviting shady people to the roster 2 mins before the match (NOT YOUR CASE), not changing the map when you've already connected to the server etc. This is what is killing fun in this game and this is what drives people away, not the people who act according to the rules (also great hitcode with extremely long legs and people that can make bullets go through them without any damage makes people quit this game but let's not get into this long discussion..). Oh and if you ragequit after someone followed the rules to put your teammates who fucked up their "Friend team" right before the match in place, then obviously something's really wrong with you. Just sayin.

-We added our map when we scheduled the match. We kept that map.

-We are jerks who doesn't even show up on time. Please check out our CTF match, that happened before this match. Our opponent was late, but we were nice enough to wait for them. Ohh, btw, by 'we' I mean the team that consist of players from this Owl team and your very own teamleader Zizou (Sard). Did we whine about your leader being late? No.

-You see us a friendly team and you see this match as a friendly cw, yet you kept telling us, that your map will be Prague (your usual homemap) and then in the very last moment (well, actually a bit too late) you change it to an obviously trollmap as the only team that played Algiers TS in higher divs was ASN, so you know very well, that we never practiced it.
If you consider us a friendly clan, why don't you tell us in advance that you want to play an unusual map? Maybe when we schedule the match? Or at least a day before? Or a few hours before the match, so at least we can play 1 pcw on the map? In my book, friendly doesn't mean 'oh, they don't have to prepare at all, they are friendly and they don't care if they lose'.

And just to add: if you would have asked late to play a normal, regularly played TS map (like your homemap, on which we lost against you just a few days ago) we would have agreed to play it.
If you try to gain unfair advantage and you fail because you don't know the rules, please stop pretending to be the victim and trying to make us look like the bad guys.

Also, you had the same chance as us on Abbey and you lost. It's not like Abbey is our second homemap, so deal with it.

If we were late it's because of vA clan, you can go to their IRC and blame them if you want, we were perfectly on time for the CTF match. Should I remind you that sard was also playing with us and that he's one of your teammate so he was late too.

Also, you can only blame yourself for ragequitting on your teammates, not our fault.

In our CB game, i asked you on IRC before the game if you agree to change map nr2 that was set to default cause we choosed the same map on the challenge. And i also said that it is ok what ever your choose. What has that to do with this situation? It´s not similar in any circumstances. In both games our ambition was to maximise the fun, not some exploit trying to get a easier win, quite the opposite.

This is our intentions:
SaFt vs owls on prague. To easy we pick algiers to train it
xng vs efx on orbital. To easy we pick abbey since we know u have two good abbey players.

Good sportsmanship doesnt mean follow the rules 100%, it´s the opposite most of the times when opposing teams/players have problems.

This convo isnt pointless, cause you will begin a small amount of doubt about your bad behaivior you have rationalized, and pretty soon maybe you learn something.

We just have a different defintion of sportmanship when it is about maps. I think it's sportmanship to give your opponent every chance to prepare themselves for a map so that you can have a good game on that map. You obviosuly feel like sportmanship is allowing your opponent every move they want to make regarding maps. Even if you are already on a server.
