Signups for Seasons 19/12/4 Are Now Open!
Back to top Back to main Skip to menuThe summer is over and it's time to get cracking. We hope you've got your guns polished and your minds sharp because we are back with seasons 19/12/4 of our leagues. Signups are now open so head over to the top of the main page or to Competition to sign your team up.
SIGNUPS
1/ The signups will close on September 29. Divisions will be posted within a few days, and you will have the remainder of the week between September 30 and October 6 to schedule your first matches.
2/ You will need a minimum of 5 players to join the league.
3/ To sign up - see the top of the front page or click on the COMPETITION menu. Select the competition you want to sign up for. Now click the “chain link” button (you can see the text “sign up” when you hover your mouse over it) next to the competition you want and you will be signed up!
4/ Do not forget to edit your roster, erase all players who left, add all new players, and edit permissions for your trusted players and captains.
5/ Make sure your teammates set up their aliases and auth.
6/ Sign-up instructions for NEW team leaders and registration instructions for other players can be found in our manual HERE.
7/ Do not forget to fill in your team contact information in this website (team website, irc channel, contact email, etc.) – if we are unable to contact you and verify your signup, you will be removed from signups.
IMPORTANT:
ALL players in both leagues have to be registered. Multiclanning within one competition is not allowed. However, players are allowed to play in one CTF team, another BOMB team, and yet another TS team. Do not – repeat: DO NOT – create accounts for your teammates. We are able to reference IP addresses and your team will not be allowed to sign up if we find one person faking accounts for others. Because we also have clans competing from outside Europe we want clans to set the correct country flag. Also we expect all players to know the rules and abide by them, so (re)acquaint yourself with them.
RULE CHANGES:
1/ Players are obligated to upload their demos after every match. If a player does not upload his/her demo, the player is not allowed to play any other matches in any UZ competition of the season. If a player plays a match despite not uploading demos in a previous match, he/she will be treated as a non-roster player.
2/ Teams will only be able to use each map ONE TIME PER SEASON. That means that once you pick a map, you cannot choose it again in the league you chose it for (if you pick Turnpike in CTF, you cannot use it in CTF this season again but you can use it in TS).
3/ Teams in the cup groups will only be allowed to use each map once per group stage and then once in the playoff stage. This is your chance to show everyone you're not just muscle - that you are able to think strategically.
4/ If you try to bypass the rules and play a map again, the map will be automatically forfeited.
5/ You will not be allowed to change maps 48 hours before match time. If you forget to change your map before the 48 hour deadline, you will have to play whatever map was entered for you in the match page.
6/ Matches played on Monday and Tuesday of any week need to have their maps entered until Monday noon (1200 PM).
7/ Playoff matches must be scheduled by Wednesday midnight of the match week and played by Sunday midnight.
8/ US servers are equal with European servers. (i.e. US server can be used as a league server and as a home server.)
9/ Moscow (Russia) servers are equal with other European servers.
We promised you a couple special events before the season starts. Due to some technical hickups, we were forced to postpone them but not cancel them. You will still get your chance to prove how good you are at skeet and knockout before we kick off the season for real.
Good Luck and Have Fun!
