Week 1 Reminder
Back to top Back to main Skip to menuWe're happy to see you're all settling into the new season. We've already had a couple dropouts but they should be replaced fairly soon.
Don't forget that your matches have either already been forced or will be forced sometime today. Before you play your first games though, make sure to read through these reminders:
0/ Behave like a human being. We really don't want to suspend and ban people for spewing racist, sexist, or just plain stupid abuse at opponents and referees but we will if you do it. There is a simple solution - don't.
1/ Enter your auth in this website. Everyone who plays needs to have their auth in the site. If you don't, you will be considered a non-roster player and cost your team points.
2/ Be authed in the server. If you encounter an auth problem, immediately report to a staff member. If you're playing at a time when there are no staff members available, make sure to send servers logs to one of the admins.
3/ You need to be on the roster. Everyone in a match needs to be on their team roster 24 hours prior to match time.
4/ Rosters lock when match schedules are published. Anyone added to the roster after that must comply with transfer rules. Each player and each team are allowed only one transfer per season. There is also a limit on how low players can transfer when joining a lower division.
5/ You can only play each map one time per season. Choose your maps wisely. The limit applies to each league. You can play Turnpike once in CTF, once in TS, and once in BOMB.
6/ You can't change your map within less than 48 hours before your match or during a match unless your opponent agrees.
7/ If a team's chosen/forced map has already been played, the opponent team is obligated to cooperate and agree on a new map. Agree means agree - if you pick the same map twice and it somehow goes unnoticed, you are obligated to pick a map your opponent approves. If you can't agree on a map, contact a staff member who will pick one for you.
8/ You must upload demos after every match. Even if you lose the match. If you don't upload, you get suspended. If you get suspended more times, you get banned. You can easily prevent the problem by uploading demos when you finish your match.
9/ Use the match channel listed in your match page and the Urban Zone public channel if you can't find your opponents. Your match channel also contains a link to webchat if you do not have an irc client. The UZ public channel is #urban-zone @ irc.quakenet.org
