Happy New Year urban terrorists! We hope all your wishes become realities in 2015! One of our wishes is to have a more active Urban Terror community. Hopefully restarting the KNOCKOUT events will be a small contribution to this wish. It will be held on Sunday the 11th of January in the afternoon from 16:00 till 18:00 CET.
How can you sign up?
Signups will be done through this Urban Zone newspost. The first 15 to reply to this newspost get a spot. If you aren’t one of the lucky fifteen, sign up anyway – some people always drop out and you can take up their place. You are expected to be present in channel #urban-zone.knockout (irc.quakenet.org) at 15:40 CET, with the nickname you signed up with. If you are not there on time your spot will be given away.
Schedule
We’ve chosen for a mix of maps and the final map is killingroom a map specifically designed for KNOCKOUT by Frankie_V of FrozenSand.
Round 1 – ut4_casa – 15 players
Round 2 – ut4_kingdom – 13 players
BREAK (10 minutes)
Round 3 – ut4_paris – 11 players
Round 4 – ut4_thingley – 9 players
BREAK (10 minutes)
Round 5 – ut4_austria – 7 players
Round 6 – ut4_area3_b4 – 5 players
BREAK (10 minutes)
Final – ut4_killroom – 3 players
Nations Cup
To finish off we will be doing the Nations Cup group draw. At this moment 17 nations have signed up. If your nation has not yet signed up you can still do so by following the information here. No guarantees we can place you but the more the merrier!
