Player of the Week Knockout Is Here!
Back to top Back to main Skip to menuThis summer, we decided to up the ante a little and give you the chance to shine. Upon our notice and at a time selected by us, we will organize player of the week knockouts throughout the summer.
So, this is how it works:
- 15 players
- 4 maps
- 4 players eliminated per map
- 1 winner
Only people from teams active in the summer cup are eligible for signing up for the POTW knockouts. They themselves need to have played at least one match in the week prior to the knockout game signup. Signups will be handled via irc private message to a selected UZ staff member. The first 15 to msg the referee with their name will be given the chance to play. There will be no winner privileges or invitational spots in any of the knockouts.
The winner of each POTW knockout will get 5 points for his team, a nice POTW banner, and an interview for the UZ website. Of course, if possible, we will have twitch coverage and you will be able to cheer your mates on in their quest for glory and frags.
Now hang on tight, in the next couple days we will be posting a signup notice in our website and you will get your chance to get your spot. You never know when it might come so don't forget to idle in our irc channel and watch the website.
