q3ut4 folder

ok so i formatted this computer and copied over my urban terror folder.

the problem i'm having now is that when i take screenshots and demos, i have no idea where they are being saved.

they're not being saved in the usual q3ut folder and when i try to do a computer search only the old q3ut folder is showing up but not what i need

when i demo and then go and have a look inside urban terror where you can view demos, all of the demos are there.

Try and have a look in the following folder: username -> appdata (that is an hidden folder if I'm not mistaken) -> roaming -> Quake3 -> q3ut4

It's not under Quake3.

C:\Users\<yousernamehere>\AppData\Roaming\Urban Terror

Or open explorer, type %appdata% and go up one directory and search for *.dm_68 if you still can't find it.

hey dom

what version of osx is your friend running?

everthing prior to osx lion:
Harddrive/Users/Usename/Library/Application Support/Quake3/q3ut4/demos

on osx lion and mountain lion it's the same path but you have to make your library folder visable before you can access the demo folder:
open terminal > type chflags nohidden ~/Library > press enter > folder is visable now

let me know if you need further help

cheers

karl

well, strange ... the string worked for me .. you could install a little program called "find any file" .. or you have a look here: www.techspot.com/commu...on.187542/

or just search for osx 10.7 application folder in google... it's not too tricky

I do have 10.6.8

you go to Finder>Library>Application Support>Quake3>q3ut4>demos

in lion and mountain lion (10.7 and 10.8) the library folder on the user level is invisable ...

in snow leopard 10.6.8. it's visible by default and therefore easily accessible ..
