Have played (starter) for team Canada multiple times. Led Team Canada in NC 16, where we unfortunately were not able to field a team. I think we can do better this time! My real name is Rob, I've played Urban Terror for 11 or 12 years.
Other relevant information:

- Past experience with team Canada as a starter over multiple seasons.
- Have won multiple FTW and STA titles.
- Played in Open Cup numerous times with top tier players.
- One of the best players in North America.
- Past leadership experience with championship teams (founded and led GlaD to double STA titles).
- Zero tolerance attitude towards cheaters+hackers!
- Strong knowledge of NA community.

So my question is, who is going to play for Team Canada with you if you're elected? Are you going to bring us back players from the death who have been away from this game for ages?

I'm not sure where the voting is except that this thread has more posts! To be perfectly honest, I had no idea Brainie had actually put together a preliminary team of players, although it's fairly obvious what has gone on there (you are Canadian? you can play!). That's fine, it's a casual team, which is about all Canada can put forward, given that most players have retired. I don't want to see an abysmal performance, but it looks like there just isn't enough old school talent left. Force and Truth are the only guys I think are actually still playing, at least according to my sources.;) If a few more decent players emerge (and vote for me!) from the wood work in the remaining voting period, I will install UrT, get a TS3, and we will practice. My stance on this is that we put together a competitive team that can medal, or we bow out.

For sure. But it's much past that point. Ahts is apparently playing, but he screwed us in NC 15 because FTW finally figured out he was a cheater. I doubt he cheated during NC 15 and I had no problem playing with him (altho get a mic!), but having a confirmed+banned cheater on a team is just plain disrespectful to the game (as little respect as the abomination that is 4.2 deserves).
If the original 4.x-era team Canada came back (soli, kenny, me, guns, xb, rev), no team would stand a chance, even with rust and 4.2.
ANyway, long post. gl to all teams and players in NC. It's a little bit sad seeing how far UrT has slid (CB dead?!) in the 6 months I've not played:(

It's not "team brainie", it's a team of active players willing to represent their country until the very end!
