I have a couple of requests:

1) Rain should not be able to see the map/gametype choices in advance since he is an active member of Team France. This isn't a knock at rain's character it's just a request based on principle alone. The fact that it is Rain doesn't help the situation though Razz

2) Teams should not have this 24 hour grace period to change their forced maps anymore. Now everyone is just abusing the system by waiting as long as possible to pick their map so the other team cannot practice it. This does not affect me because team USA rarely scrims during the week, but it is obvious what most of the teams are doing at this point. I understand this grace period for week 1, but if teams still do not know that they have to email their map/gametype choice by now, then too bad.

Actually there are more people in the staff who are active members of their national teams, and as you stated in the second point, almost all teams are waiting until last minute to send us their gametype. The idea was to update those threads as soon as we have both teams maps and game types, but this is not happening until Sunday/Monday.

As most of the matches are played during the weekend the fact of not knowing opponent map until Monday just give few hours of disadvantage, and as almost all teams are sending their picks with delay usually affect to both teams. As a personal pov, I have to agree with you in the second point.

Thanks Sot1

PS: [ego:ON] i don't need to know your map/gametype. We already have the best ctf team, and i'm sure in team survivor they're good enough to kick all the asses here. Even the poor Canadians one. (I guess they're still afraid to play against the Team France , wp noobs) [ego:OFF]

PS2: i still love you eya, even if i was away for 9days.

PS3: UZ Kappa//

As Sotone mentioned, Rain is not the only one, actually many UZ staff members are involved in their national teams, at different levels (I'm one of them, captain of my team). It's unavoidable that these people know things that non-staff members would not know, or know only later.
I think the only solution is to trust these people not to make use of this knowledge to get an unfair advantage.

If there's something Team France haven't won last year, it's respect and sportsmanship. If we couldn't play, that was because some of us were sick and others couldn't show up. We're definitely not afraid but you should be. Sometimes the noobs can still win over the bests in this game and I'll make sure we kick your ass enough so that you couldn't sit on your chair after that. If it's not us, it will be someone else.

Stay humble Team France, the game is not finished yet.

He is one player... do not pigeonhole us please. I, for one, was really looking forward to the match. No need to be an asshole.

Keep it classy, kermit. It's refreshing to see a positive attitude for a change in urtland.
