You are 24 hours 55 minutes late to change your map Cool

- Rules
Teams will have 24 hours to change a forced map, during the group stage until Monday midnight

tbh, teams shouldn't have the option to change a forced map, you have the whole week to send us that information.

Well my excuse is that I'm only here from 2pm to 4 pm on Sundays and I don't pay attention to this game after that. I have other stuff to think about so yes I forget to send you my team's map. But in the end isn't it better to give people the choice especially when they are not experienced enough to play on all maps?

I would be pleased to play forced maps if the map list wasn't that bad.

Btw your week 4 announcement was at least 24 hour late. I was counting on that as a reminder to provide map/game type.

Why do you even take such a responsibility if you have only 2 hours a week and "don't pay attention to this game after that"?

Kind of nonsense, don't you think? Plus, it takes you 20 seconds to hop in IRC and tell your map to Sotone which has a fantastic bnc.
It takes even less if you consider you should do it via e-mail according to the rules.

Everything else is kind of useless excuses, such as

Don't you think cup admins wait for teams to tell their map choice before making the newspost? So it HAS TO BE AFTER the dead line to tell your map. Couldn't be otherwise.

You have 7 days and a half to tell your map and do it late. Absurd.

My 2 cents and my personal opinion.

Not even sure why you would call the maplist bad when the admin pick for you was Prague TS, which also happens to be a map/mode Canada played in a previous match.

I like the maplist, there is a good variation of maps and play styles available, im sure if enough people were particularly for or against a certain map, it would at least be considered for the future? Smile

That's not at all true, the news were published before the forum topic, and just after the deadline:

And the news about the changing maps rules were announced few weeks ago:

Posted by Sotone on Tue Feb 04, 2014 4:15 am

Maps and dates from the second week has been forced. In order to make our work more easy, the rules about map changes has been changed, now teams will be able to change their forced maps until Monday midnight, and only if were forced.

Why was this change? Like was said in the news, its double or triple work have to edit all map changes. In previous seasons teams didn't have the option to change a forced map, as people is a little bit lazy or busy isn't working quite good.

Good luck!!

Because we played it once doesn't mean we fell in love with it.

We'll stick to uptown bomb unless it really bothers Colombia which I doubt will. We want some change and some fun and some spectacle here. TS, TS everywhere! Enough of TS ladies.

That's the first time I see someone so confident their opponent will accept to play uptown with only a few possible days of practice.

I hope you already sent Sotone your map & type for next week. That's the best thing you can do now.
