This is an idea, I'd really like to gather your input...
So here goes, the idea is to have a 2on2 one day tournament on either Saturday 23rd or Sunday 24th of april, that's in 2 weeks. 16 team can sign up for a double elimination tournament.
I want to stream it obviously and generate as much content as possible, each round would be played in one hour, but each match would be 1 map (20 minutes). The maps would be pre-chosen or done by elimination, however the map pool would be limited to have diverse maps being played throughout.
As stated before I want to generate as much content as possible, I'd like to have a match every 30 minutes. So lets say the top of the bracket plays from 15:00-15:30 and the bottom plays their match between 15:30 and 16:00. This would also mean that the match has to start on time. Something that can be difficult for the urbanterror community
Then again if this works we'd have a great event to showcase URT.The event would be 6-7 hours long and preferably starts in the afternoon, lets say 14:00 - 19:00 [break for dinner] 20:00 22:00.
So first of all what do you think of the idea?
Secondly, are people interested in this? If so please share in the forum.
Thirdly, who is going to help me organize this, we don't want a repeat of Knockout.

I'd even be willing to put up a little cash prize from my own pocket. 20,- any donations/subscriptions on twitch would be used to add to the cashprize.
Cuz ubardoom atleast wouldn't be the best choice, idk about the other maps tho. But like u said it would be nice maybe trying out new maps for this tournament as people might be tired of these original maps and won't feel like joining cause of that.
