Issues with Controlpanel/My Player Profile-Settings
Issues with Controlpanel/My Player Profile-Settings
Posted: Mon Nov 04, 2013 7:45 pm
Hello,
today i wanted to change my playing-status from "inactive" to "active" in the "My Player Profile"-Settings. After applying the changes (Button "update profile") i get a blank screen.
target-URL: urban-zone.org/index.p...le=control
Waiting some minutes, for that i may get redirected, didnt work out. Refreshing resulted in "you dont have permission..." - maybe cause of the double-request.
Changing settings always worked till now - i don´t know, if that´s a known issue, or it could be local.
Greetings,
Maddyn

Yes, there appears to be a problem with the update profile function.
Recently we added a function to look up a player's country from their IP address, because so many people were lying about where they're from. However that function appears to be causing problems, so I've disabled it for now pending further investigation.

Thank you for looking into it - yes, disabling that feature solved it temporarily
