Starting now, we are officially cooperating and supporting the eChain European Urban Terror TDM league. We will be helping eChain with manpower, advice and work. The eChain team are trying to give the Urban Terror community a TDM league and the number of teams that have already signed up is proof to the fact that they are giving us what we want. If you are interested, hop on to their site and sign your team up.
The start up page at has been updated by Nexu to link you to both leagues currently supported by Urban Zone and to a little bonus provided by Nexu.
The current league season is almost over, but we haven't been all that idle. We hope to start a summer theme cup as soon as possible, giving you all an opportunity to play different maps and different gametypes. Then after the summer we'll return to the ctf league and Season 4. |

There is a new Urban Terror league around, making the game more interesting to new players and small clans. Instead of doing a CTF, Team Survivor or Bomb Mode league, we're going for a Team Death Match league, open for clans and so called player-groups (unclanned players who team up). You and 3 friends can start in this League.
You need at least 4 Players. If everything goes well, the first Tournament will start at July 5th, 2008.

For the team survivor fans among us. I'm bringing you exciting news about a 1v1 team survivor tournament, organized by Team Terror, is now also open for European players!
This 1v1 team survivor tournament is a single elimination tournament.
The format is best 2 out of 3 maps with 10 minute map time limit and 2 minute round time limit. It's open for all continents; Each continent gets there own separate tourney bracket so you will only be playing against others on the same continent as you are.

Team veni-vidi-vici (=[vVv]=) has been added to the 2nd Division to replace @PUK. They agreed to step in into a very challenging division and play more matches per week to be able to catch up - so, thanks guys and good luck :) |

As most of you noticed through forums and unfortunately also through word of mouth it seems, even though it was supposed to be hush-hush.. sEx|Spoon was investigated for cheating.
We found the demos of sEx|Spoon inconclusive proof of any sort of cheating, we consulted a large number of experienced cheat detectors and some of the most talented players in the game for this decision. Spoon is obliged to submit all of his demos from the matches in the future and has agreed to do so.
We also pondered certain additional methods to make extra assurances, but those atleast for the moment proved to be little too complicated and badly functioning to be implemented atleast before working out some kinks. If any of you readers know of anti-cheat programs that could be run with UrT (such as a stand alone screenshot taker aside from Octinium) please come forward with suggestions to help keep the game clean and fair. |
