Back to top Back to main Skip to menuOur 6th POTW knockout was played in style. We did not have a stream and so we borrowed 7of9 to actually play a knockout instead of shoutcasting it. And - with his trusty negev - he made it to round two.
In this very German KO, we played all custom maps again, starting with paris_v2 and tohunga_b10. For top 7, Xandaxs fixed ut4_iran3_ko by making it prettier, fixing the lights and adding spawns. The top 3 map, ut4_tharsia_ko_b1, was made by JRandomNoob specifically for knockouts and played like a dream.
In the top 3, Kantinahs faced and defeated Crimzon and Pyroo in a tight match. For quite a while, Kanti and Crim fought for the victory with identical scores, but in the last few minutes, Kanti took the lead and Pyroo hiked up to the second place with a few kill streaks.
Kanti picked ut4_prague for next week's knockout. It will be the last POTW KO of this season but do not despair - we're working hard on a regular Urban Zone Knockout in all it's seven-map, several-hour glory.
