Back to top Back to main Skip to menuLately, Urban Zone has been cooperating closely with Custom Mapmakers to provide more and better maps for our Knockout events. But we do not want to forget all our other players and all other mappers. In the wake of the CMM map competition, we decided to post our own challenge for mappers to get more and better maps for the competitive scene. So here goes.
What We Offer
1/ We will put your map on our regular season maplists for at least one season.
2/ Your map will be used in knockout, our most frequently streamed event.
3/ The release of your map will be supported by a newspost or blogpost on our website, our usual system of news distribution, and promoted on our Facebook and in our streams.
4/ The map will be featured during one of our cups (summer or winter) alone or together with other new maps as the theme of the week.
What We Require
1/ The map must be of site suitable for competitive team gameplay (i.e. 5v5 matches).
2/ It must support at least one of the three major team gametypes (BOMB, CTF, TS).
3/ It must be finished. Urban Zone staff and other mappers will decide whether the map is complete enough and fit for competitions.
4/ The mapper will provide active support for the map throughout its first season in competition.
5/ If you want the map featured in a knockout, it needs to support FFA (enough spawns, not placed randomly and within walls, etc.)
